Rumor is Butler is expressing interest in top 100 Scout and Composite Point guard Zach Johnson. VC- http://www.verbalcommits.com/players/zach-johnson--2
Not sure if it just a rumor or if this is really happening, but it makes sense because the kid lives in Miami and Butler was recruiting Henriquez. Would go a long way to help fixing Butler's point guard troubles for 2014, not sure where to rate him since Scout has him as a 4 Star, and ESPN as a 2 star.
Unless he has reclassified, Johnson is only a junior this year...He's a big time player on the rise down here in S Fla where I'm at...I plan to see him play this season for Miramar High (Geno Smith's former school too). That might explain the low rating from ESPN as well (probably haven't fully scouted him yet).

Thanks for clearing up the confusion, the tweet said he was 2014 other sources say 2015 but who knows. Yeah he seems like he could possibly be Big East talent and I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of schools went after him.
Don't get me wrong, besides the year being off everything else concerning your post & the tweet is true including it being awesome to hear Butler is recruiting big time talent S Fla!
Johnson is racking up some big time interest/offers very early.

Really interesting to see that on 247 he has a ton of offers and the other sites aren't showing any of these. Will definitely be interesting to see where this kid ends up.

Answer: I do have the option but trying to go high major is not in the plan I'd rather go mid-major and be the juice
Quest: Do you consider the new Big East high-major or mid-major?
Ans: Mid-major
Quest: Dude da big east is def high major, they got GTOWN, Marquette and a bunch of other good squads
Ans:How good will those 2 programs be will the make the tournament and how many teams in that conference will make the tournament ...that determines to me if a conference is high major or not.
Quest: That conference will send at least 5 to the dance just watch
Ans: Then that most definitely is a high major conference

Great digging Bulldawg...last I saw of him was two years ago I didn't follow local hs bball last season so I didn't know he transferred to Norland (a powerhouse down here) last season. They won the 6A championship and probably will again this season. Anyway I followed up on your askfm link about the mid-major route and hit him with this:Quest: Do you consider the new Big East high-major or mid-major?

Wow...but then other people chimed in and he loosened up on the BE:Quest: That conference will send at least 5 to the dance just watch

Either way dude is a baller that BU needs to be on. Here's some vid of him (#5 in White) in last year's championship that I found on max preps

"Johnson paced the Vikings in his first season with the school, attacking the basket and emerging as one of the team’s key playmakers, averaging 13.3 points and 4.1 assists per game."
"Not only was he effective when driving the lane, but he was also able to do damage from the perimeter, finishing the season with 115 three-pointers."
"His focus is on improving his shooting and learning to read the floor better as a point guard while tinkering with other parts of his game."
"Expectations will be high for Johnson and a Norland team that retains most of its roster from this past season’s championship run. They will be seeing more of the national spotlight this year, participating in the 41st annual City of Palms Classic this December in Fort Myers."
