Funny thing this past week - All year long you hear the ACC and ESPN talking about how they are going to bring their show to New York City and the Garden and how Syracuse has a foothold in the City. The come in on July 1 and hold a little tourist party in Times Square. Well if you look at the NYC newspapers this week, the ACC media day got just about ZERO coverage. Syracuse hoops got zero coverage. The Big East and St. John's were all over the sports sections. So everyone needs to chill about what teams we don't have and focus on the ones we do have.

I understand that many people like to say this for a variety of reasons, but come-on. No, no one cares about preseason rankings. Only Every. Single. Sport. does it.
Half of being a fan is arguing rankings, who's better, who got screwed, discussing next year's teams, etc. At least this isn't football where if you don't start in the top 10 you really don't have a chance, but still.

Pretty meaningless in the pre-season but fun to talk about.
Funny thing is if Creighton were still in the MVC they would be the favorite to win that league and be ranked in the top 15.
