Uggh Marquette, basket has a lid on it for them and their defense is horrible. If Carson is gonna hit 3's like he is right now, this games over. BTW, this Wilson PG for Marquette is useless.

First Marquette game i'm watching. They're terrible. They have three guys on their entire team who can score: Jamil Wilson, DeVante Gardner, and Todd Mayo. And Mayo is out with an ankle sprain. They have so little offense it's sad. What's their plan this year? They might as well try and go VCU Havoc style and Press because it seems like scoring off of turnovers would be the only consistent way to score outside of Gardner.

So is Thomas and maybe Juan Anderson really should have transferred.

Seriously, even though he just made an and 1, Wilson and Thomas has to be the worst starting backcourt in the Big East by a longshot. Damn Vander Blue.

I still think Marquette has a much better offense than us lol. Let's remember guys, Marquette is up against a very good team. This is an extremely long team with countless offensive weapons and great rebounders. Going to be tough, but not counting out Marquette. ASU is very patient so Marquette's D needs to wreak havoc.

Wasn't Xavier's choice. Part of the Battle for Atlantis. Luckily since it's their first year in the transition to D1 the game doesn't count for RPI purposes.

Not to cause any controversy, just out of curiosity…where do all these 6'10-7 foot doofy white guys with almost no muscle but have amazing post games and can shoot lights out come from? Wisconsin has them, Creighton has them, ASU has them, San Francisco had them last year when they beat us, Gonzaga had one, Maryland had one, Siena had one when they made a tourney run a few years ago, etc.

It just seems like they come out of nowhere…these big white guys don't get the same ratings as the inner city black guys who are very athletic. I really want SJ to start recruiting some…just a pure shooter who is big enough to rebound and post up, without being a total defensive liability. Looks like a lot of these guys come from other countries too…what were these guys rated by Rivals/ESPN when they committed? They are never big names but they can light it up from anywhere on the court.

Honestly, most come from towns between 20,000-100,000 people. Lots of German and Scandinavian genes in those places.

I'd like to apologize to every Big East fan. We should be better, we aren't. Really not much else to say right now. Who wants to drink? First round on me at Duke's.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Creighton's "doofy white guys" come from Iowa--we've had at least 3 of them for the past 18 years. Even our coach who is our winningest after 3 seasons, and his son, who is on the Wooden watch, are both "doofy white guys" from Iowa. If you weren't a "doofy white guy" from New York, you'd already know that and wouldn't have to keep posting your "where do the doofy white guys come from" comments every week.
