That's it. That's the one. Forget all the other wins and losses - this is the win the conference needed and was waiting for. Unranked Nova taking out #2 Kansas is the win of the year in the NCAA, not just the Big East. Great job by the Wildcats. And if the announcers could have willed a Kansas win they would have. The entire final six minutes is them talking about Kansas and how they can win it. Just a great game.

I have always had a minor man crush on Nova even as a SJ fan. It's like Mariano Rivera…even as a Met's fan you have no choice but to respect and appreciate his game. I got made fun of for always saying how I wish we were Nova on the other SJ boards…now they look stupid. No game is too big for Nova. If I were Kentucky with a team full of Derrick Rose's I still wouldn't want to play them. This is normal business for them continuing from last year. Always win the big ones. Congrats Nova, well deserved.

If Creighton, Xavier, and Marquette can get back on track maybe we get up to 4 ranked teams in a few weeks or so. I expect at least 2 of them to. If only we won a few other nail biters i.e. Butler over #5 OSU and SJ over PSU both of which were entirely possible, this would have been a magical night for the conference and it might have even warranted a "Beasts of the East" headline on ESPN. Oh well, at least we got one tonight…I feel like we were due for this does anyone else?

That'll be interesting. I think one thing- the Iowa/Nova game is huge-because if Nova wins- that knocks Iowa out of the polls. If Iowa wins- that may knock the BE out totally.

Honest Question. Is Battle for Atlantis played in a converted Hotel Conference Hall?

Nova will be ranked regardless of whether they win or lose to Iowa. If they lose to Iowa they will be 6-1 with a win over the number two ranked team and a lose against number 23. They will be ranked - the Iowa game will just tell us where. Creighton may still be ranked, especially if Iowa drops out. I think Marquette is out.
