I'm assuming Kansas, Michigan State, Syracuse and UMASS. We will probably win 1 or 2 of those but then lose 1 or 2 we don't expect in addition to DePaul and Seton Hall dropping a game atleast. I'd probably go with 21-7.

The Johnnies also have a home date with Dartmouth on January 18.

@NCAAhoopsdigest: Fantastic news from @SterlingGibbs4 that his injury is "nothing serious" according to his twitter feed. #shbb fans can exhale. #bigeast

Feeling better about that 1 now but still going to count that as 1+ MSU+ Cuse + @New Mexico/@Alabama

Thanks for doing this, Billy Jack. Taking that info, I put together a schedule of Kenpom top 100 opponent. At this point, Kenpom is probably a better predictor of RPI than RPI. Here we go:

Dec 21 - Marquette vs. #35 New Mexico (Neutral site)
Dec 21 - Xavier @ #43 Alabama (Only non-conference road game of the season for a young, mercurial team)
Dec 21 - Georgetown @ #6 Kansas (HUGE game)
Dec 22 - Creighton vs. #60 Cal
Dec 28 - Xavier vs. #80 Wake Forest
Dec 28 - Villanova @ #7 Syracuse (Really tough game in the Wildcats' bid for an undefeated non-conference slate)
Dec 28 - Providence @ #24 UMass (Good opportunity to the Friars)

Feb 1 - Georgetown vs. #16 Michigan State (neutral - MSG)
Feb 1 - Villanova @ #96 Temple (Borderline top 100 opponent yet a big rival...That's a recipe for a bad loss on the tournament resume)

As you can see, this coming Saturday is probably the biggest day in the non-conference schedule for the Big East, with the final Saturday of the year being pretty significant too.

put the RPI's on. Really, outside of Alabama and UMass- and maybe Temple- not huge differences at all between RPI and Ken Pom. Also, the Marquette/New Mexico game is at Las Vegas, not the Pit(huge difference there!)
