No Longer a Mod on CSNbbs

Congrats Redman, it's a badge of honor to get banned there.

My last discussion involved:
- them claiming that Brooklyn was better than Manhattan;
- that "Saint John's" was an acceptable way of spelling the name of the Big East school in Queens, though it's never been written that way ever.
- had a mod from West Virginia of all places calling all New Yorkers lazy.

It's really a college football board. The mods let 40 pages of Big East bashing go on, but if 2 of us then get on to defend ourselves (like that Xavier-Cincinnati thread) then they lock the thread.

The West Virginia guy hates Dave Gavitt. The place has become a horror show. They even deleted my Kate Upton photo!

That was my last thread too. Thats the one that got me booted as a mod. The funny thing is they say they want me to continue to be a poster! hahaha Why so I can be banned within a month by some Cuse mod who has an agenda? Give me a break!

Haha, is that the thread in the Conference Realignment board? You guys went off about St. Johns-Saint Johns. Even had pictures of a diploma.

That same mod from West Virginia once banned me for life for a questionable link I posted about Rick Santorum (google "Santorum" definition). Anyways, I emailed them back and told them to check the website in detail, it was not what he thought it was.

How exactly is CSN an ACCboard? For the most part between 07-11 it was mostly a Big East, CUSA, MAC, and Sun Belt Board. College Realignment grew the ACC, B10, and SEC side of things via the CR Board. In fact, the day Pitt & Cuse got invited to the ACC I got with the owner of the board (who happened to be an ACC fan) to move Pitt & Cuse board and mods to the ACCboard. From that point on the ACCboard grew and grew. Now, take a gander at the CR/CSboard for a tic, there isn't a single ACC moderator on that board: Brista (B10), BurnTheHorse (Sun Belt), ComputerBob (B10/AAC), JRsec (SEC), S11 (B12). So again, how exactly is CSN an ACCboard? Too bad the Big East board on CSN didn't grow. At least y'all have a great home here.

I'll be the first one to admit that the C7 fans took a ton of heat throughout the years on the BE board. Some of it was justified and some of it wasn't. What happened w/ realignment truly sucks. I'd rather see Pitt play Villanova & Georgetown and so on. It is what it is and out of all our control. Best of luck to the Big East and to you fine fans.

Ask the rest of these people here who used to post there how they saw that board. I'm sure more will agree with me, that to us current BE fans it became an ACC board. How long did that thread go on where the Pitt and Cuse fans were trolling about the St. John's name? Even ACC mods taking part in it. I'm sure they also had their mod-ship revoked.

I have no real issues with you Joey, but BE posters get the shaft over there.

BTW I was right about John01992. I wonder why the BE board didn't grow?

You could see how the St. John's debate was going to end. It was pointless to get into it. I don't know if NJRedman was accused of baiting / trolling but I'm disappointed he was removed considering he didn't say or act any differently then multiple other mods have done in the past. I don't know if it's ACC dominated but its always been biased against BE Basketball schools (I don't like C7 even if it's easier). And while it may be funny to take shots at stever (and i understand how he may bother people), I still consider him a fellow BE fan and he should be not be alienated.

That board was too much about football and conference realignment for me. There are more trolls on that board as well. John01992 was one of them.

The ACC board is mostly Syracuse, Louisville & Pitt posters. I assume it was mostly dead over there before those invites came.

Well it's official, now i'm full on banned from their boards. Without posting a single thing since being removed as a Mod and them telling me that they want me to continue to post there I get the ban. I guess my claims have some truth to them after all?

I was never on that board, but if it`s all ACC then why would ya want to post with them anyway? screw the acc.

The two boards that I miss are the old aol boards, SJU and Yukon fans used to go at it.
and much recently the cbssports boards that cbs killed last April.

I know cbs had alot of traffic on it, so why mess up a good thing? The boards had some good stuff that everyone enjoyed.
Like coll basketball had the weekly peoples poll: Where everyone would do a top25 poll, say atleast 20 and someone would do the #s and put the official top25 people`s poll, nfl boards would have a pick`em game. It was all fun, and the winner could brag.

The thing is cbs killed it with no warning so I couldn`t say bye to old time friends which pisses me off.

That board blows. They don't care about the actual game of college basketball. The realignment is the sport/entertainment to them.

And I care so little about college football, it doesn't even remotely move the needle for me. I get why some fans want more money and potential exposure for their schools, but in terms of on the court would anyone trade places with boston college or rutgers or northwestern, or washington state or mississippi or whatever other sucky sports school is cashing in some money on realignment but not ever winning games or rarely being televised nationally?
