Also I like that FS1 schedules 30 minutes in between games so no game runs over and cuts into the next one.

*Exhales*

Phew, can't wait to get home and watch it. Good game St. John's, definitely made for an exciting listen though not the most productive 2 hours of my work day.

St Johns has some very talented players, just not a great flow offensively. Xavier is a tough matchup with their help defense being quite sticky.

As I said back on page 1 of this thread, the Cintas Center is a tough place to get a W

Great start

Turrrible start. Stain too much for the red breeze. 40-18 in paint.

St John's looking down the barrel of a potential 0-3 start with Georgetown and Villanova upcoming

Xavier really needed this win- with Butler, Marquette, Creighton, and Georgetown next 4 games.

Just got home from Cintas.

Steve Lavin has to be the worst coach I have ever seen. I didn't see St. Johns even attempt to run a half court set. Out of timeouts they would just dribble and shoot a three with no passes (did this twice I can remember). Had all of halftime to talk to the team, then calls a timeout 40 seconds or so into the second half (when he only had 3 left to begin the half). I have no idea how St. John's fans can root for this team. The amount of talent is as obvious as the absurd lack of coaching.

Semaj and Stainbrook both had HUGE impacts on the game. Semaj's stats won't show it but he was everywhere. Randolph and Reynolds both played well off the bench as well while our typical sparkplugs Myles Davis and Farr struggled for the most part. J-Mart played like he did against UC, which puts this team over the top. Great win. Saying I can't wait for Butler on Saturday would be an understatement.

Lavin starts Green and GG, why???
Jordan should have started

Pointer think he`s a PG, he, Sanchez and Obekpa should not touch the ball 20ft from the rim.
Sampson doesn`t know how to pass, to many forced shot. Lavin needs to make players ride the bench for 10minutes no matter wtf they are.
Settling for to many jumpers. Wasn`t aggressive enough.

Oh well X kicked our asses. To me G-Town is an absolutely must win, and yes it`s only the second game of conf play but can`t start 0-2 with nova coming in

Nice win today X. Dominate second half. You guys controlled the paint. Didn't understand St. John's offense. No flow, just create one on one. I think the announcers need to pick up their game to match what is on the floor. I felt they were reading from a book. Didn't tell me anything but the obvious.

Enjoy your win, cause the Dawgs are next on your dance list. Gotta go get the tube over to see if the Hoosiers can steal a win.
