Notre Dame for 1 year - good or bad?

The ACC has said they will take Notre Dame for this year if they can get out of the Big East. Therefore there is no chance they will join us. Looks like it is either one more year in the "who knows what they are going to call it" conference or move to the ACC now.

Does Notre Dame still want to join the ACC? This conference may be gutted in 3 years.

If the ACC falls apart Notre Dame will be able to join the same as now. Our conference wouldn't turn them down if they wanted to be permanent members. As for now, it wouldn't be us convincing Notre Dame to abandon the ACC, it would be Fox throwing money around. I haven't a clue if Fox is doing that, but I can see them trying to, possibly in hopes of also nabbing their football in a couple of years.

not sure the ACC ever dies... The big 12 is far from secure... infact the big 12 is texas... Texas is like ND an entity with its own sweet sports deal. The only difference is that Texas has managed to bully and intimidate and collect a bunch of smaller schools into its conference. If and when the whole thing goes to four conferences Texas is likely to move with TT, OKST, and OK to form the eastern part of the PAC conference. Leaving what ever poor saps left in that 12 fending for themselves.
