I have still been reading rumblings that the schools and Fox cannot agree on the final two. According to one source, not one school has been advocating Dayton, leading me to believe FOX must like their numbers. Therefore the BE will go ahead and start with the 9/10 schools.

The 7 presidents do agree on Dayton.
It will be 10 in 2013 and 12 in 2014 but the schools are decided.

I too think the schools are picked. But i can tell you why Fox likes Dayton... its called FOX SPORTS OHIO. yes i know Xavier is already in fox sports ohio but the whole goal of fox is to crank up the fees of the Fox Sports bundle. The more you offer the more people will demand to have the channel and the more money you can charge. Richmond and Creighton i believe are both in Comcast territories and therefore NBC owned cable companies. Fox will not have as much leverage to bring to bear. Also Fox Sports Ohio covers a huge well populated area, and since the the world of cable bundling is where money is made Fox would most likely prefer colleges in its established regions.
