What does Dayton have that we don't?

Dayton gets 10,000 a night. I think that helps. Plus, I still believe that XU wants Dayton in so they might try to leverage that as part of us accepting an offer.

Xavier wouldn't mind if Dayton is in, but will leave them in a heartbeat if they don't get an invite. Xavier is not trying to "leverage" anyone in this situation. It is every man for himself.

They bring the winning tradition, name recognition, and tourney results.
The Zags were the 1st to publicly state they wanted in...a new C7 Conference.
They will be an able and proficient anchor to the Western Division.
They are not bringing nor leveraging for anyone other than themselves.
They aren't sweating the increases in team travel.

They are the best candidate for inclusion... of all the proposed teams.
