Wow, playing with house money the rest of the way, Davidson outplayed Marquette but a ballsy finish. Come out swinging the rest of the way!

I wouldn't say Davidson improved after losing to Wisconsin Milwaukee, Marquette is just highly overrated and you guys shouldn't overlook anybody buzz and his boys season is over!!!

Was rooting for Marquette as my sister and uncle are alumns.

Wow what a game! I turned it on with 10 minutes left.

I thought Marquette was toast when Davidson went ahead 49 - 40.

After Marquette's 1st 3 pointer, I thought at least the margin won't be too bad now.

After Marquette's 2nd 3 pointer, I thought this could get interesting.

After Marqueete's 3rd 3 pointer, I thought "OMG!"

After Davidson's turnover, I thought "Booyah!"

One more quick thought on this game.

Usually when you see a comeback like this, it's because the team that is ahead self-destructs.

But that wasn't the case here. Other than the turnover, Davidson played a great game in the final minutes.

Davidson fans must be shaking their heads.

I've followed UW-Milwaukee since I was in junior high, this year was the worst they've been in a long time. That's not easy for a program like UWM. Being one of the 6 D1 schools they beat is an embarrassment. Marquette beat Wisconsin, Georgetown, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Syracuse, Notre Dame and tied for the Big East regular season title this year. Overrated my ass. Inconsistent at worst.

Is that the troll from the journal sentinel? Almost every article about Marquette leads with a post by someone saying Marquette is overrated, they're not going anywhere, and, lately, that their season is over, etc.

I don't know what people expect from our team. NCAA seeding is not a ranking of quality of teams, it is a ranking of accomplishments in the season. We overachieved, so we have a seed that's higher than the quality of the team. We won, we move on, no one game tells you how good a team is.

Milwaukee is sad right now, they were a fun team to watch for awhile but have completely lost it. I think we should play all the Wisconsin D1 programs every year, but right now we have to leave Milwaukee off. Beating up a 300+ team to extend a pathetic streak is terrible and losing to a team like that to end the streak would be something we never live down. I hope they can get back to being an rpi 100 team, our state is looking bad in the Horizon. Be nice if one of them could step up and become the next dominant team in the Horizon.
