Ha Ha! Touche Dash, well said. Although I'm not afraid to rub X fans the wrong way (we had a poll over at the Underground and you're our #1 rivalry target) my actual one and only target is St. Louis. What can I say, I'd like our State footprint map to connect, they would be another good rival candidate for the Jays, they are JESUIT. But they need to get good and the sooner the better.

Hey, I love you guys. Creighton is a class act.
While you may want to irritate us from time to time, please consider that a quid pro quo approach to all this is only fair. Try not to douche this place up by making stupid recommendations.
The bottom line is that we stay at 10 if UConn doesn't come along.
We stay at 11 if they do come along in order to keep the Round Robin.
The Nova guys are spot on about this: the GAP between UConn and the next possible candidate may as well have the Grand Canyon placed into it.

I'd prefer a basketball first, private school with good revenue and a large fan base over a state school that does not want to be here because it's coupled with football. If that's stupid to you you're certainly entitled to your opinion...
but if you're going to get upset and call me a douche over those kind of trifles, I suggest you grow thicker skin fast because your crosstown pals are expected to get the call-up from Dallas. In fact, we all need to brace ourselves for asinine bearcats drunk on Lone Star and TexMex trolling up this saloon.

I meant that in jest, not as a flaming comment.
We've been taking care of UC for years and that isn't going to change much as long as the Yellow Toothed Gnome is still trolling the bench in Clifton. I actually believe their inclusion in the B12 would be good for the rivalry, and it certainly would be good for the Queen City.
I otherwise understand your preference for private, good revenue and large fan base, but, if that's about UD, then I still take the position that, in the grand scheme of things, UD is regarded as a mid-major on the national stage and is in no position to increase our "market cap" at this point. In the context of where we presently stand as a conference, they can't possibly add anything to the mix. They would not make us better, and, given the value of any slots we have to offer were we wanting to offer them, are not worthy of an offer.
On the other hand, if UCONN shakes free, they probably do so with even more limited options for their football program going forward. Bring them in on the basis of a prohibitive exit fee. That alone will flush out their true intentions: if they sign an agreement with such a provision in place, they're probably with us for a long while, if they don't sign it, then we say good luck.
Finally, if we were to secure UCONN, then we will have broken this "privacy veil" and would be free to go after VCU as #12, assuming 12 is deemed better than an 11-member Round Robin format.

As the old saying goes: "Contracts were made to be broken." Furthermore, I can't see the ACC kicking out ND. But I CAN see ND leaving the ACC, especially if they are forced to play X-number of FB games per year vs ACC Members and the quality of the ACC's FB programs continues to worsen.
