Looks like Butler, Creighton, Providence and Villanova make the tournament. Congrats to all!

Nice! Congrats! Wish we were there with you but it's nice to see conference so well represented.

EDIT: Also, only 48 teams go to the tourney, so we are definitely getting some respect.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Hard to believe this happened but PC rallied from a 4-1 deficit to beat #1 and previously undefeated Maryland in the NCAA tournament 2nd round. Creighton also advanced with a late goal.. Way to go BE!

Providence versus Creighton...ROUND 3! I love it. This is our ninth meeting in the past four years. All tied up 4-4 since BE realignment.
Nice win for the Friars coming back against a team that level.
Too bad for Butler, but they had an otherwise great season and have lots of good pieces returning next year.

Go Bluejays!

Huge. Akin to the play-in team taking down the national #1 seed in March Madness (o.k. maybe doesn't move the meter quite as much, but still).

Whoever wins gets into the final 8 with a great shot at going to the College cup against either the 8 or 9 seed (albeit that's going to be a road game against either NC and 'Cuse, so no easy task).

Wow Providence, 4 straight goals to beat the #1 team. That was impressive!! Whatever happens Saturday, we get a team into the Elite 8.

Hard to know what to compare it to in regards to another sport but 4 goals on 12 minutes of game time on the road against the undefeated #1 seed is about an epic collapse as there has been I would think.

Providence beat the Jays tonight 2-1 to advance to the elite eight. Congrats guys. This was certainly a rebuilding year in Omaha so hopefully there are bright things in our future. Good luck making it to the college cup.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.

The Friars will travel down to Chapel Hill to take on #9 UNC in the Elite Eight with a trip to the College Cup on the line. The game will be this Friday at 7:00pm on ESPN3. Let's go Friars!

Good Luck to the Friars. IMO, your team has the Moxie to pull this off.
