You aren't alone wondering. Jays are now 1–10. I believe five or six of our losses have occurred either in extra innings or in the last at bat. We returned several decent pitchers but had to replace almost our entire lineup. Could be a long season.

Congrats to Seton Hall senior Zach Prendergast for pitching a no hitter at Villanova over the weekend. That's the second no hitter in as many years for the Pirates (last year's was actually a perfect game if I remember correctly).

The win also clinched a spot in the Big East Tournament for the Pirates, meaning along with Creighton and St. John's, 3 of the 4 spots are now decided. Xavier leads the way for the 4th spot with Butler still in contention.

Congrats to Xavier for winning the Big East Tournament today and securing a bid to the NCAA Tournament. I think St. Johns did enough during an impressive non-conference to get an at-large bid as well.

X crushed the Sooners 11 zip after beating Rider 3-1, then lost in a great back and forth game on ESPN to Louisville @ Louisville 8-7. Another great season for the Muskies. We'll get er done some day.
